If at first you dont succeed.....give up and let someone else do it?? Works for me!

update on blogger defeating me.

well, it did.

however, it did not defeat my sister in law...

She just sent me my NEW (and improved) header!
I am so excited! Although, im not sure she knows
what she has gotten herself into...i might be
calling her in a few months getting her do me
another one!!
i am officially "Spoiled" and thats ok, it was wayyyy
easier for me to just give up. but, im glad she didnt!
thank you, Melissa!

funny,funny stuff

I am going to try to start keeping track of all the funny things that the girls come up with. I know my friend Amy from Conway kept a journal of all the sweet and funny things that Cooper said. so, i am going to try to keep up with it on here. i figure i will just jot them down whenever i can, to humor my small but meaningful audience here on blogger. here goes...

"i love you belly button. and next week when i am taller, i am going to kiss you" -Anniston talking to herself

"You want to make a PILOT to sleep on tonight"?- Alyssa wanting to make a PALLET for bedtime. when i started to correct her she said...

"i know, i know. sometimes i just accidentally say it wrong"!

SOOOOO funny

And the winner is....ANNISTON, as usual.

the kiddos came to stay the night with us last weekend (except A.C. of course) and we went bowling. i havent bowled in forever and forgot how fun it is! we only bowled two games. the first, i won and the second, Anniston won. Yes, Anniston. The unstopable, good at everything, 4 year old middle child. she bowled a 105 an smoked the rest of us. no joke. and we were not letting her win. everytime she would get up to bowl i would try to show her how and being Anniston, she could do it herself. she would go back everytime with a different ball eventually getting the 10lb ball, which "was a little too heavy" she said. but believe me, she carried that 8lb ball around like she owned it. she is really strong! Alyssa tried it a few times without the bumpers and quickly deceided she wanted them back. she did great as well and had a few strikes! it was a lot of fun, here are some photos!

cheers.

can i just say how great my life is right now? i have recently became friends with some of the nicest people and i am loving my job. i am having such a great day, i came home to great news from Josh about his job and a perfectly spotless house. he got a call from his regional manager today for the great work he is doing! he is doing things that other people in the REGION have never accomplished! i am so proud :) he is pretty much amazing.
things could not be better. work for me is a ton of fun and i am really enjoying the people i work with. my boss is great and so helpful and the company is so good to us. the girls are so nice and we all just have a lot of fun (for the most part, when we arent taking beds apart to change bulbs)...ha! all in all, sweet home alabama really is soooooo sweet. just thought i would share. until next time... <3

blogger, you will not defeat me.

ok, so this whole "Making your own header" thing that i keep reading about on the internet, is not as easy as pie. actually...it is exhausting.
I am seriously not that great with computers and i have been working on this thing all day with my sister and we are still chatting about it at 11:00 pm. over the phone. i keep telling myself..."There has to be an easier way"!
So, just if you were wondering or interested...there is not an easy way. and if there is a slight chance that an easier way is still floating around out there in the internet world, someone for the love of GOD let me in on it.
it would be greatly appreciated.

night.

my friend Debra recently visted us from the north. and by north, i mean...

ARKANSAS.

she flew in and we picked her up from the airport. we had a full schedule of all the things we wanted to do while she was here, so there was no time to waste. we went shopping, hiking, out to eat, to the comedy club, and we even had time to attend an art class. we had a blast catching up and chit chatting over a period of four days and it still did not seem like long enough! it was nice to see a familiar face from our two year homeland. we had a great time and i was definitely sad to see her go. here are some pics from her visit!
