zzzzzzz...

Josh has been studying so much lately that i think his exhaustion is taking a toll on us as well. He has been doing really well but it seems to be draining. We were all in the bed tonight (Josh at the desk on the computer) and Sam needed a little shut eye, so he fell asleep right on Joshs notebook. Too cute not to post :)

Goodbye Mr. Bush!

Even my Delilah is an Obama fan, we had to celebrate a little ;)
Here are some photos from the exciting week.

My very sexy and soon to be nurse ;)

I made Josh dress up in his scrubs to see what he would look like as a real nurse one day. Just by the looks of it, I think he will make a great nurse.

ok...so sue me.

i went shopping tonight for some "pre nursing school" equipment for Josh. It was a monsoon outside and i just needed to run in, grab what i needed and head home on the hour drive. i drove around in a circle for about 15 minutes and could NOT find a parking space. finally, i see it... my parking spot. now. i know what you are thinking.
"no, she didnt!"
well, i did. And to tell you the truth, i feel bad. However, when i came sprinting out of the mall (hoping not to find a pregnant lady ready to beat me up) there were three other "pregnant lady" spots completely free. I was relieved and of course exstatic not having to deal with a woman who has been craving chocolate ice cream and having heart burn all day.

I can honestly say that it wont happen again due to the guilt i will carry with me. But also on the other hand, deperate times call for desperate measures.

Bring in the New Years!

We celebrated not only the New Year but also Wes turning thirty at the Kelley residence. There was a really good turnout or friends, famnily and dogs. No kidding. We had six dogs at one point hanging out. Sam and D, Wilbur (wes and kelleys), Aly and Amy (my friends) and then a stray we named "Lady". Josh and i of course fell in love with the golden pup. We made a promise that if she was still there in the am, that she was ours. Lady, i hope, went home to her warm bed because she was nowhere to be found today. Sad, i know.
So- here are some photos

Kelly didnt understand when we said "a silly face"....

The puppies had a great Christmas and so did we. Here are some photos of Sam and D on Christmas morning. They got way too many treats and lots of new toys.
