Sweet Home Alabama...

wedding

My best friend Alexia got married this past weekend! After knowing her my whole life, it was very emotional watching her walk down the isle! I am so happy for them both. Their vows were perfect and their love was obvious. I flew in Thursday and stayed until Sunday. We all had a really great time and Alexia made such a beautiful bride. Everything turned out great...and the food was wonderful. I am guessing that she is on her honeymoon as of now in the mountains. I hope they have a great time!! It was also nice to see my sister and nieces for the day! It was Annistons 4th birthday that weekend, so it was nice to spend the day with her. She was so sweet and met me at the airport with a HUGE hug. Alyssa is so big now...i went to surprise her at her school and then we checked her out. She introduced me to her teacher and showed me her classroom and around the school. I just couldnt get over how pretty she is!! I remember when she was a baby so it is hard to see her in first grade! oh, and then there is Ayden Claire...the cutest kid i have ever seen. She never cried once, actually you kind of forget she is there because she is just so sweet. She is very polite and NEVER interupts. She is just along for the ride, and seriously...I have never seen a happier baby. she smiles all the time. it is so precious. i could literally eat her up :)

Baby Grace!

Our new niece arrived on March 11, 2008 at 12:12 p.m. She is so beautiful and we wanted to share some pictures of her.
Josh was very, very proud!! he just kept telling me how pretty she was :) and he was right, she is very beautiful! i was glad for him to get home to show me all the pictures he took. we wish them all the best and cant wait to watch her grow <3

Snow day and Baby Grace is almost here!

we had a few snow days last week and it was really fun to watch cooper play in it. He loved it and i got a few good pictures of him and wanted to post them. He was so cute in his way too small jacket (because dummy me put him in Bradys jacket instead of his) but he still had a blast.

Also, we got some snow at our house a few nights later and Sam really didnt know what to do with it. He thought it was pretty weird and since he is so little, he was just shivering the whole time and really wasnt interested in it. he was much happier to get back inside.

on another and very exciting note, our new niece Grace will be here on Tuesday! Josh is going down to be there the day of but unfortunately, i will miss out :( But, we are going to plan a trip in a few weeks when everything settles down for them to go see her! WE ARE SO EXCITED SHE IS ALMOST HERE!! We already have the camera charged and i have been talking to Josh and telling him how he needs to take as many pictures as possible (you know how men are...) so, hopefully he will get some good pictures to bring back. CANT WAIT! GOOD LUCK MELISSA AND JARED!

Blog-Mania and red, red wine!

So, the whole blogging thing is really beginning to get out of hand. I AM OBSESSED! If i go a day without blogging, i feel like i am letting the whole "blog world" down (even though i know i am not that interesting :) ).
I am starting to think that i should just limit my blogging activity to really important days or very exciting news. However, then i find myself trying to come up with fun thing to do so that i can blog about them.
I have completely destroyed the idea of blogging. on the other hand, there are always worse things i could be doing... like drinking three glasses of wine (which i am doing right now... while blogging). Oh well, it's fun. What can i say?
Until next time <3

Say a little prayer!!

A recent update on our lives here in Arkansas...
Josh has recently been put in a very hard spot. He has taken all the classes he can here at UCA and now has to decide what to do! After WEEEKS and WEEKS of praying and trying to find the best solution, he quit football yesterday. He wont be playing football next semester and will not be attending UCA. As of right now we are waiting to here back from a few different schools that he has applied to. Once we hear back from the schools, we will have to decide where to move! Considering it will be LIFE CHANGING, please pray that we will be led in the right direction and that God will show us the way to go. Because, neither one of us are good Decision makers! (HA!) we will need all the help we can get! Although we know this is going to work out, please say a little prayer for us through out the next few months. We will so miss out life here in Conway, but will be excited wherever we wind up!

<3 Valentines Day <3

So Valentines Day was fun...no big plans. We went to dinner and to see a movie with a few friends.

I am sure that the guys enjoyed dinner but they all acted like they didnt want to go see the ultimate chick flick...P.S. I love you. I have to say, we left and they all were ready to go buy it :)
I am positive they would not admit to it though.

Birthday

To start my birthday off, i got to work and Cooper and Brady (im sure Amy helped them a little) had made me a train cake decorated with all kinds of candy and frosting. It was very sweet and very yummy! Cooper liked the m&ms the best! We are still eating on the train cake, but i am afraid it might all be gone by tonight...also, i had the morning off and got off early (thank you brad and amy) and that worked out well so i could sleep in and run some errons.

I turned 22 and although i did not celebrate me getting older, i did decide to celebrate Thursday night by going out to eat at Hooters ;)

Josh was very sweet and did all the inviting and planning, leaving very little for me to have to worry about. and all in all, we had a really great time. All of our closest friends came and it was nice to all get together.

I had such a great day and to top it off, i had lots of presents and cards in the mail from my family in Alabama. We are so blessed to have such great family and friends around us. And turning 22 wasnt so bad after all. until next time <3
